Solar Panel company cease trading after mis-selling solar panels on finance provided by Barclays. The outcome being a settlement in favour of the client within just 9 days of presenting the case to Barclays.

Mrs H from Essex instructed Rowan Rose Solicitors to make a claim for mis-sold Solar Panels on her behalf and we settled the matter in only 9 days. Her claim was brought under Sections 56 and 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 against Barclays. It was held that as the finance provider, Barclays, were jointly and severally liable for the reimbursement of payments made in respect of the Solar Panel System. The supplier of the system was Smart Save Solutions, who are no longer trading, and they made representations regarding the system at the point it was sold.
